Choices designed for a QUALITY PRODUCT
The rims are fluo formed by alloy plate 6082-T6, free of welds, and entirely turned after heat treatment (T6). The continuity of the fibers (not interrupted by the typical junction), the absence of unevenness (due to the typical weld) and the perfect roundness determine a product of excellence totally Made in Italy.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQ
How much does a wheel weigh?
They weigh as much as the originals, but it depends on the configuration. The weight of the wheel is concentrated in its center, the elimination of bellows breaks down the peripheral weight, for the benefit of a low moment of inertia.
What color options do I have?
The spokes can be black or silver, while for aluminum parts (i.e. rims and hubs) I can be anodized (with all the typical colors of the anodic … Silver, black, blue, green, red, orange, purple, champagne, titanium, yellow, gold. All in a glossy or matte version).
We also have the option to perform paintwork on the rims and hubs.
The painting we propose is liquid (we do not powder, except in exceptional cases).
The colors are usually a customer’s choice, which can tell us the RAL code.
We do not perform paints on the spokes.
Are the wheels tubeless?
Yes, they are. We use a putty that covers the spoke at the point where the rim is engaged. The system is guaranteed.
Are the wheels plug & play?
Certainly. No changes to the vehicle are required. The position and size of the bearings is identical to what the manufacturer chooses. In this way, we respect the design choices of the vehicle, and the customer can reuse the supplied components (brake discs, spacers, screws etc.)
Better M6 or M9 beaming?
Both are valid. It is purely an aesthetic choice. The M6 wheels respond to a classic taste, while the M9s are more suited to muscular and powerful bikes.
Are the wheels homologated?
No, because in Italy there is no homologation for motorcycle wheels. Some models are approved by TUV in Germany. Our beams have been tested in Italy on test benches identical to those of the TUV.
Know How
Professionalism, constant updating and important verticalized technical expertise on the environment of the spoked wheel.
Design
The machines produced by JoNich represent the fastest and the most technological in the world, allowing the production of 10 spokes per second, with control of the salient dimensions at 100% of production, and equipped with self-calibration technology.
Prestige
The JoNich technical department is the only one to have designed and made bicycle spoked wheels (equipping with the EOLIC brand of SELLE ITALIA the wheels of Marco Pantani's bike when he won the Giro d’Italia), for motorcycle (winning for years all motard races under the ALPINA brand) and for modern cars (bringing to approval 160 applications with the prestigious brand BORRANI)
